SEA Index® Welcomes Port Saint Florent, Corsica as New Member.

The Superyacht Eco Association – SEA Index® is delighted to welcome Port de Saint- Florent, a key maritime destination in Corsica, as an Institutional Member. This collaboration represents the latest milestone in the SEA Index®’s mission to engage marinas across the Mediterranean and beyond, in the collective effort toward climate-conscious yachting.

Nestled on the northern coast of Corsica, Port de Saint- Florent is renowned for its natural beauty and strategic location at the gates of the Agriates Desert. Combining heritage, hospitality, and environmental awareness, the port has increasingly positioned itself as a partner for responsible yachting. With continuous efforts to modernise its infrastructure and services while preserving its marine ecosystem, Port de Saint- Florent is taking meaningful steps to align with sustainable tourism and nautical practices.

By joining SEA Index®, Port de Saint-Florent commits to promoting lower-impact yachting through the support and dissemination of the SEA Index® CO₂ benchmarking tool. This partnership helps activate engagement among superyacht stakeholders; owners, captains, managers, and charterers, on the importance of measuring and managing their carbon footprint.

As an Institutional Member, Port de Saint- Florent will display SEA Index® signage onsite and work to promote CO₂ benchmarking among its network. SEA Index® certified yachts will have berth priority for reservations in Port de Saint Florent.
