Marina di Olbia Yachting Services, which includes the sophisticated Marina di Olbia, the exclusive Marinella Mooring, and will integrate Molo Brin in 2027, stands as a premier gateway to Costa Smeralda. By joining the SEA Index® community, the group is strengthening its environmental accountability, reinforcing Sardinia’s role as a leader in more sustainable yachting.
Advancing Sustainability in the Yachting Sector
This partnership demonstrates how leading Mediterranean destinations can drive the environmental transition of the yachting industry. Sardinia, renowned for its pristine waters and marine biodiversity, offers an ideal setting to champion the SEA Index® principles.
Benchmarking and Incentives for Cleaner Yachting
As an institutional member, Marina di Olbia Yachting Services will actively promote the SEA Index® CO₂ benchmarking tool, a not-for-profit system that enables yacht owners, captains, and charterers to measure and understand their vessel’s carbon footprint.
Together, SEA Index® and Marina di Olbia Yachting Services will implement an incentive program to attract yachts with the lowest CO₂ emissions, rewarding environmental performance and setting a new standard for Sardinian marinas.
